Modesto News Herald, 04 Oct 1927, Tues, p5c5 INJURIES FATAL TO SONORA WOMAN Receives Fractured Skull In Fall Down Stairs; Rites Today Sonora Oct 3 - Mrs Caroline Dambacher, wife of Joseph Dambacher of Sonora was found unconscious at the foot of a flight of stairs in her home early Sunday morning by her brother, Hugh Delehanty. Mrs Dambacher has fallen and fractured her skull. She was taken to the Sonora Hospital for treatment where she died Sunday afternoon from a cerebral hemorrhage. She was a native of Michigan, where she was born on June 26, 1881, and was 46 years old. She lived in the this state for twenty-two years and in Sonora for seventeen years. Services will be held from the W H O'Beirne funeral parlors at 9:45 am Tuesday and mass will be held in St Patrick's church at 10 o'clock. Services at the church will be strictly private. Internment is to be made in the IOOF cemetery. Besides her husband, Joseph Dambacher, and her brother, Hugh Delehanty, both of this city, deceased leaves a sister and brother, residents of Michigan.

A Fall Proves Fatal to Woman

At an early hour last Sunday morning, Mrs. Caroline Dambacher, wife of Joseph Dambacher, superintendent of the Standard box factory in this city, sustained injuries in a fall which subsequently proved fatal.
