Albert's wife died just days after the birth of their last child. Albert continued to farm and married a second time to Emma (last name unknown). Emma died in San Francisco in 1929. Albert was working in Susanville, Lassen County, California, in 1930. Albert died in Seattle, Washington, near his younger daughter.
