Ola and her husband Joseph L. Blazek drove to Alaska in 1947 from Texas in a Model A Ford. At the time of his death in 2004, Joseph still owned the Model A and it was in very good condition. Ola was an amateur photographer and at the time of her death had a collection of over 1500 photos. Most of the photos were of friends and family and some were very old. They are very much treasured by her family.
