Son of Henry Calfee and Sarah Bailey.

Married to Arminta Caudill Calfee'daughter of John B and Martha Caudill.

Lived in "Calfee Holler" off of Smith Branch near Mallie, Ky.

Cemetery is located at the head of "Calfee Holler" at the foot of the hills.

Following notes by Charles Calfee without pictures.
On 7/19 cousin Gary Johnson (Mom's side) took me to the "Calfee Cemetery" site which he and his son cleared off after an "Old Regular Baptist" minister (Bordus Slone) refound it a few weeks earlier..... the clearing took 2 days.....there are wild dogs in area. see pics below showing access...about 50 feet was too steep to climb..... he dug in steps as seen above.....the area cleared continued to the top of the knoll where the graves are located.....pic above, is grave site.. g'pa's marker is left of center the marker was extensively cleaned (was found laying face down).. but still hard to read....pic above from back of marker, note elongated depression to front of stone.... site is .5 miles from Smith Branch rd, entrance has locked gate....
