Financier. Frederick Prince was the oldest member of the New York, Boston and Midwest stock exchanges, was president of the Chicago Stockyard Co., and chairman of the board of the Union Stockyard and Transit Co. He was also a director of the Chicago Junction Railway Co., the Livestock National Bank of Chicago, and of Armour & Co. Throughout his life he owned or controlled close to 50 different railroad companies.
