Marilyn Doll Minton Bolton, 77, passed away on Sunday April 28, 2013 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born on February 11, 1936 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky to John and Corinne O'Brien Minton.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, John Windel Bolton and her daughter, Lisa Gayle Bolton, brother, Sonny Minton and sister Jo Ann Taylor.

She was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School, had lived in Jacksonville Beach before she met her husband and eventually ended up in Plano, Texas were she worked for the Clerk of Court's Office from 1982-1998. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Plano.

Survivors include her brother Herbert Minton (Rhonda), sister-in-laws Melina Minton and Elon Bolton Rentz, brother-in-law Mahlon Bolton (Louise), and several nieces and nephews and many other loving relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, May 2nd, at Garden City United Methodist Church, 3057 Dunn Ave., Jacksonville, FL 32218. Burial service will be held on May 17th, 2013 at Riverview Memorial Park Cemetery, Allen, Texas with the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas in charge.
