Serial Killer. Convicted in 1987 of the murders of four young women in eastern Connecticut, between 1982 and 1984. In addition, Ross admitted to murdering four additional young women in eastern Connecticut and New York State. Ross had asked to be executed, going through a lengthy legal process to forego further legal appeals and allow his execution to proceed. Ross grew up on his parents' chicken farm in Brooklyn, Connecticut, the town where he committed one of his murders years later. Ross was executed by lethal injection, pronounced dead at 2:25 a.m., on May 13, 2005, at the Osborn Correctional Institution in Somers, Connecticut. He was the first person executed in Connecticut since May of 1960, and the first to die by lethal injection.
