Meghan Anne Rosenberg, 8 months old, of Rockford, passed away in her parents arms, surrounded by family on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, in Lutheran General Children's Hospital in Park Ridge, Ill. Born Aug. 27, 2012, in Park Ridge Illinois; the daughter of Brendan and Laura Rosenberg. Her family will never forget her smile. She is survived by her parents, Brendan and Laura; grandmothers, Toni Neitzel and Maureen Rosenberg; aunts, Ann Marie (Brian) Coyle, Elizabeth Rosenberg, and Kathleen (Scott) Knudsen; uncles, Patrick (Laura) Rosenberg and Larry Rosenberg. Predeceased by grandfather, Harold A. Neitzel Jr., and great-grandparents, Harold A. (Ruth) Neitzel Sr., and Patrick (Elizabeth) Brady. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 10, 2013, in the Cathedral of St. Peter, 1243 N. Church St., Rockford, with Rev. Jeremy A. Trowbridge officiating. Burial in St. Mary/St. James Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service in the Cathedral. Memorials to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
