Jacqueline Anderson LUBBOCK-Jacqueline Perry Anderson, precious daughter of Laura and Justin Anderson, lay down for her nap on Monday, May 6, 2013, and woke up in the loving arms of Jesus. Left to remember the joy of her life are Garron Charles, her big brother who was her truest friend and best playmate; and Olivia Vines, her newborn baby sister on whom she doted ever so gently and adorably. Also left to cherish Jacqueline's life are grandparents, Molly and Jeff Denny of Lubbock and Mary and Charles Carlson of Odessa, who marveled at the amazing joy, love, and laughter that one little girl brought to their lives. Jacqueline was also a treasured cousin, niece, great-niece, great-granddaughter, and friend. She is survived by Ashli and Brandon Tate and children, Bailey, Benjamin, Bethany, and Barron of Odessa; Christine and Matthew Anderson and children, Katherine and Jack of Dallas; Devon Martinez and Charles Carlson, Jr., of Westlake; Connie and John Drager and children Hannah and Brooklynn of Highland Village; and Lindsay and Weston Brown and children Aubrey and Emmy of Shreveport, Louisiana. Also surviving are great-grandmother Elna Davis of Abilene and numerous extended family members and friends. Jacqueline arrived on July 7, 2011, and for twenty-two months blessed every person with whom she came into contact. Her perpetual smile and spirited happiness brightened any space she entered. She gleefully attended gym and music classes, loved riding her bike, and played lovingly with her friends. She joyfully loved helping her Momma in the house, especially being part of changing and bathing her new baby sister, and being outside gardening with her Daddy. Most of all, she loved following in the footsteps of her big brother. The family will receive visitors Friday evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church. A celebration of the life of Jacqueline will be held Saturday, May 11, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Officiates include Reverend Tyson Taylor of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Reverend Weston Brown of Brookwood Baptist Church in Shreveport, Louisiana, and Reverend Donnie Williams of The Bridge United Methodist Church in Odessa. Pallbearers include Matthew Anderson of Dallas, John Drager of Highland Village, Brandon Tate of Odessa, and Charles Carlson, Jr., of Westlake. Services are entrusted to Resthaven Funeral Home in Lubbock. The family requests your continuing prayers on their behalf and hopes that Jacqueline's life and example will inspire you to cherish each and every moment with those that you love.
