NEW PALTZ - James "Jim" M. Cornwell, 50, of New Paltz, died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2002, at home. Mr. Cornwell was the District Supervisor working for Carrols Corp. in Kingston. He lived in the area most of his life and was a member of the Reformed Church of New Paltz. Born July 17, 1952 in Fine, N.Y., he was the son of Harry Cornwell of St. Louis, Mo. and New Paltz and the late Joan Starr Cornwell. He is survived by his wife, Cecilia Cornwell, at home; his father, Harry Cornwell; a son, William Cornwell of New York City; a daughter, Andrea Cornwell of Binghamton, N.Y.; a sister, Mary Conlon of Long Island; a sister, Cynthia Terwilliger of Wallkill; a sister, Beth Cornwell of New Paltz; a sister, Deborah Christiana of Cartersville, Ga.; and many nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 8, at Reformed Church of New Paltz in New Paltz. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Foundation Inc.,334 Broadway, Kingston, NY 12401. Arrangements by Copeland Funeral Home Inc., 162 So. Putt Crs. Rd., New Paltz.
