Mares in Colorado Springs,
Colo. He passed away on May 9,
2005, at the age of 24.
Services
for Mr.
Mares will
be 10 a.m.
Saturday,
May 14, 2005,
at St. Helena
Catholic
Church in
Hobbs.
Officiating
will be
Father
Dennis Fountain of St. Helena
Catholic Church. Burial will
follow at Prairie Haven
Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Friday, May
13, 2005, at Calvary Memorial
Chapel from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. with
a rosary at 7 p.m. at the funeral
home. Services have been
entrusted to Calvary Memorial
Funeral Home in Hobbs.
Miguel lived in Clovis until
1988 when he moved to the Lea
County area. While living in
Hobbs he worked as a floor
hand for McVay Drilling
Company for five years. He
married Rosalinda Perez on
Dec. 1, 2003, in Hobbs. He was
of Catholic faith.
Miguel is survived by his
wife, Rosalinda Mares; his parents,
Leo and Esther Mares;
three children, Angel Ray
Mares, Kyla Nikole Mares and
Izik Anthony Mares, all of
Hobbs; a sister, Jean Murdock
of Honolulu, Hawaii; and four
brothers, Billy Burch of
Vernal, Utah; Ruben Burch of
Butte, Mont., Leo Mares Jr. of
Portland, Ore., and Stephen
Mares of Honolulu, Hawaii.
