Alejandro (Nene) Villalobos, 86, life-long resident and native of El Paso, went to heaven to join our Lord and his beloved mother and his twin sister (Nena) on August 7, 2012. Nene was born on August 6, 1926, to the late Rosendo and Adelina Villalobos. He attended Bowie High School and later went on to serve in the US Marine Corps during WWII. After his Military service, Nene worked for Peytons Packing Company, the El Paso Electric Company as an electrician and later drove busses for the City of El Paso where he retired after 30 years of service. Nene was a quiet man and but he loved to converse. When engaged, he could talk for hours on any subject. He was also passionate about fixing things. As the perfectionist that he was, he ensured things were done right the first time even though he fussed with his nephew Bobby and life-long family friend Jesse. By being a perfectionist, he also inspired an excellent work ethic to his children and served as a mentor for others to follow suit. Reading was another one of Nene's passions and he loved to read, especially the newspaper. He would read the paper from front to back to provide him with more conversational topics. On occasion, he would venture to local libraries in his area.
Nene is survived by his five children: ..., ..., ..., ..., and ...; Nine Grandchildren; 14 Great-Grandchildren; Six Great-Great-Grandchildren; numerous Nieces and Nephews and the last Villalobos of his era, his sister-in-law ... (96).
