Diana Rae Groff, 75, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away November 11, 2012. She was born August 14, 1937 in Perry, Iowa. She graduated from Perry High School in 1956, and was a resident of Las Vegas since 1968. Diana was the Senior Communication Specialist for City of Las Vegas Fire Department from 1976 until she retired in 1995, and was a member International Association of Firefighters, Local 1285. In her position, she was responsible for overseeing all the communications for the department to include the 911 dispatch. In addition to her work, Diana loved the outdoors and her animals, specifically her cats and dogs. She was an avid gardener, who enjoyed planting flowers. Diana was preceded in death by her son Bruce Groff. She is survived by her sons Michael, Brent, and Mark Groff; grandson Jason Groff; and her granddaughters Katrina Groff and Veronica Reed.
