Naomi Pruden Wolgamott, 88, Neosho, entered into rest on May 18, 2013, at Medicalodge of Neosho after an illness.

Naomi was born July 4, 1924, in Independence Co., near Batesville to Alva and Iva (Nettleton) Pruden. She moved to Granby in 1938 and graduated from Granby High School in May 1943. She worked as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell for 2 ½ years and then was a homemaker for her family. Naomi and her husband, Raymond owned and operated a Dairy Farm for several years. Naomi was a Brownie leader and 4H leader and also served on the county council for two terms. She said "I love my family very much and am proud of them all." She was a member of Church of Christ Rocketdyne Road and had been a Christian since 1938. She taught Sunday School for several years.
Naomi married Raymond Wolgamott Jan. 19, 1946, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 23, 1997, after 52 years of marriage.
She is survived by three daughters, Beverly Davis and husband, Jerry, Phyllis Collinsworth, and Ragene Johnson and husband, Donnie; grandsons, Jonathan Davis and wife, Michelle, Mark Davis and wife, Marla, Michael Mahurin and wife, Amanda; eight great-grandchildren, Mattie Davis, Derrick Davis, Jackson Davis, Cassie Davis, Jake Davis, Jesse Davis, Brett Davis, Paisley Mahurin; three step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Charles Barker; sister-in-law, Treva Wolgamott.
Along with her parents, Alva and Iva Pruden, and her husband, Naomi is preceded in death by her sisters, Alta Pruden, Ruth Haywood, Viola Barker; brothers, Charles Pruden, Elmer Pruden.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at Clark Funeral Home Chapel Of Memories Neosho, Denny Kruse officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery Neosho. Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews. The body will lie in state from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday with family receiving friends from 6-7 p.m.
