Professional Hockey Player. A native of Benella, Australia, Dunderdale played for teams in the MAHA-I, Man-Pro, CHA, NHA, PCHA, X-Games, and the WCHL hockey leagues. Dunderdale played for the Winnipeg Ramblers from 1905 to 1906, Winnipeg Strathconas from 1906 to 1907, Winnipeg Maple Leafs from 1907 to 1908, Strathcona-Alberta from 1907 to 1908, Winnipeg Shamrocks from 1908 to 1909, Montreal Shamrocks from 1909 to 1910, Quebec Bulldogs from 1910 to 1911, Victoria Aristocrats from 1911 to 1915, PCHA All-Stars from 1914 to 1916, Portland Rosebuds from 1916 to 1918, Victoria Cougars from 1918 to 1923, Saskatoon Crescents from 1923 to 1924, and the Edmonton Eskimos from 1923 to 1924. Dunderdale retired from playing hockey in 1924, but continued to coach several hockey teams in Los Angeles, California, Edmonton, Alberta, and Winnipeg, Manitoba. A great stick handler and skater, Dunderdale became the first Australian to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame as a Player in 1974. Dunderdale died in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on December 15, 1960, at the age of 73.
