U.S. Veteran Francis E. "Pat" Windover, age 89 of Bay City, died Saturday May 18, 2013 at MidMichigan Medical Center. The son of the late Myron and Margaret (Nash) Windover was born in Midland on September 5, 1923. Pat served in the United States Army during World War II. He had been employed with The Dow Chemical Co. as a chemical engineer until retiring in 1979. Pat enjoyed sailing and being on the water. In 1948 Pat married the former Barbara Salbaum. She died in 2010

Surviving are his sons, John (Kathy) Windover of Bakersfield, California, Steve Windover of Miami, Florida; daughter, Karen (Brian) Brubaker of Coleman; grandchildren, Donald Scott Graham and Jennifer Lynn Graham; sister in law, Marga Hayward of O'Fallon, Illinois; many nieces and nephews.

Per Pat's wishes cremation has taken place and private inurnment of his ashes will be in Homer Township Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Personal messages of condolence to the family may be offered at www.wilson-miller.com
