In 1958 he owned and operated a construction company in Southern California. He removed to Las Vegas, Clark Co., Nevada, in 1959 where he owned and operated a construction company until his retirement in 1994.

Marian was born at Glenham, Dewey Co., South Dakota 27 January 1930 to Henry K. ZANDER and Mildred Alice VANDERPOLE. Marian and her parents removed to Corning, Tehama Co., California in 1936.
Jerry married second Arliss Ann FOLGER at Las Vegas, Nevada on 9 July 1960. They divorced there in 1967. Arliss died in Arizona in 1995.
