BELLEVUE - Margaret E. (Shapley) Reid, 75, of Bellevue, died Monday, January 11, 1994, in Mercey Pavillion (Battle Creek).

She was born June 25, 1918, in Eaton County's Kalamo Township, to George and Myrtle R. (DeForest) Shapely.

A homemaker, she married Clair R. Reid on September 2, 1938, in Bellevue. He died December 15, 1975.

She was also preceded in death by brothers, Maynard Shapley, her twin and Fred, Marcus, Roy, Norris and Murel Shapley, and sisters, Beatrice LeClair and Pauline Gibbs.

Surviving are daughters Janiece Montague of Nashville and Janene Morin of Grand Rapids; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation: After 322 p.m. today at Shaw Funeral Home, Lehman Chapel, Bellevue, where the family will be present from 4 to7 p.m. today.
Services: Services at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Darwin Kuhl officiating.
Burial : At Riverside Cemetery, Belleview.
Memorials: Alzheimer's Southwest Michigan chapter.
