OBITUARY: On Sunday morning, May 26, 2013, Robert (Bob) Everett Brown was called home to his reward with his Father in Heaven.

He was born in Salem, OR at Deaconess Hospital on July 7, 1937 to Lillian (Harvey) and Everett P. Brown. He grew up in the Hayesville area and attended North Salem High School.

He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1955 to 1961 as a radio operator.

On June 6, 1964, he married Phaleya (Fay) Brown Davenport. They celebrated 49 years of marriage.

Bob graduated from Oregon College of Education in 1969 and completed graduate work in psychology.

Bob worked with various state and government agencies in training and counseling and retired in 2003.

He was a life-long member of the Church of Christ, where he served as a deacon.

Bob loved being with his family and serving his Lord. He was appreciated for his ability to counsel and mentor others with humility and compassion. Bob was also an avid basketball player, fisherman, and Oregon Ducks fan.

Bob is survived by his Wife Fay, Daughter Marisa Walker, Son Corey Brown, and Daughter Angie Brown. Siblings, Virginia Rudishauser, Douglas Brown, Kathleen Beebe, and Michael Brown. Grandsons Dillon and Danny Walker. Preceded by Sister Shirley Brown (Henry), and his parents.
