Tommy "Tom" Shockley
PROVIDENCE — Tommy "Tom" Shockley, 55, Providence, died Friday, May 31, 2013, at Baptist Health in Madisonville.
He was a member of the Providence VFW Post No. 5484 Men's Auxiliary. He was the owner and operator of Tom's Wrecker Service in Providence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hershel and Sue Shockley.
Survivors include his wife, Penny Shockley; one daughter, Samantha Snyder of Providence; one stepdaughter, Amber Baker of Dawson Springs; one stepson, Brent Lynch of Louisville; two sisters, Glenda Wright of Henshaw, Ky. and Eva Princivalli of St. Louis; one grandson; two stepgrandchildren; nieces and nephews. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Whitsell Funeral Home in Sturgis. The Rev. Mike DeMoss will officiate. Burial will be in Pythian Ridge Cemetery in Sturgis.
