Cecil, beloved husband of Betty, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Stensrud Lodge in Saskatoon. Cecil was born at Fielding, SK. October 6, 1912, the seventh of thirteen children born to Maude and Robert Ferris. He was married to Betty for 65 years. Together they farmed at Fielding, moving to Radisson in 1984. Cecil is survived by his wife Betty; daughters, Lesley (Dennis) Morgan, Audrey (Ed) Miller, Joanne Boisjoli; son, Greg (Shauna) Ferris; 10 grandchildren, Greg (Nicole), Mark, Jody (Marlin), Jeff (Tara), Kirby, Nicole, Gavin, Brady, Janna and Brooke; 4 great-grandchildren, Trace, Myles, Ryan and Claire; sister, Norma Barber. Cecil was predeceased by his parents Maude and Robert; sisters, Leota, Vivian, Verna, Enid, Jean, Edna and Ruth; brothers, Telford, Russell, Keith, and Chester: son, Ronald James; grandchildren Lee Christopher Morgan and Keely Shauna Ferris. He was a humble man with a great capacity for love and service to his fellow man. The Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 13 at 2:00 PM at Stensrud Lodge, 2202 McEown Ave. Saskatoon. In lieu of flowers, donations to Stensrud Lodge are gratefully accepted. Arrangements entrust to DALMENY FUNERAL HOME (306-254-2022).
