POSTMASTER IS DEAD. 13 Nov 1913. T. A. Dilley, postmaster of Sterling! passed away about two oclock this afternoon. Mr. Dilley had not been well for some time, but not until a few days ago was an immediate danger felt. He had been gradually failing but was able to be at the postoffice until a shorttime ago, and last Saturday was able to come up town for a shave.
Mr. Dille had been suffering from diabetes, and some time ago other complcations set in and hastened the end. Monday morning word was passed around the city that he was in a daroerous condition, and that gangrene had set in, as well as other complications.
The deceased has had trouble with his eyes for several year, and during the past year had had a couple of operations performed for the removal of cataracts, and was thereby made able to get around alone and to enjoy life a little better. He made the point to be in the postoffice regularly in spite of his many troubles.
More particulars will be given in next weeks Bulletin. Funeral arrangements have not been made at this time.

Thomas Anderson Dilley son of William Newell Dilley Sr. and Mary Axtell, married 13 March 1873, to Caroline Margaret Condit, at Viola, Illinois, in the Home Of her Brother J. Condit. Thomas and Caroline had three children: Albert Dilley, Samatha Dilley (who was adopted), Condit William Dilley. Thomas is a 1st cousin, 3 times removed to my wife, Carol.
