PATRICK, ANDREW JOSEPH, JR., age 93, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2007. He was born on July 11, 1913 in Covington County, Alabama to Andrew and Minnie Patrick. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Birmingham, where he served on the Board, was a member of the Choir and taught Sunday school. He was a resident of Birmingham, and was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-five years, Willie Mae Patrick; son, Andrew Joseph Patrick, III; brothers, Ulmer Patrick and Eugene Patrick; and sister, Florence Crow. Survivors include his wife, Helen C. Patrick of Birmingham; daughter, Patricia P. Milam (Ed) of Atlanta; step-daughters, Sherry Womble of Birmingham and Cindy Ostrowski (David) of Birmingham; brothers, Francis Patrick (Bernice) of Mobile, Leonard Patrick (Sarah) of Rockingham, North Carolina and Raymond Patrick of Boonesville, Arkansas; sister, Evelyn Wilson of Birmingham; grandchildren, Larry and Gary Crouse of Atlanta, Cheryl Hinton (Tom) of Atlanta and John Dunn (Angela) of Atlanta, Betsy Weatherly (Scott) and Andy Patrick (Gina) of Birmingham; 10 great grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren. Funeral Services will beheld Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at First Church of the Nazarene, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Pastor Roy T. Nix officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday evening. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to First Church of the Nazarene, 1998 Shades Crest Road, Birmingham, Alabama 35216.
