Biography of Mabelle S. Watson:
Watson, Mabelle S., Ashtabula, Ohio, was born in Hastings, Michigan, June 6, 1874, daughter of George H. and Anna M. (Newton) Spaulding, and is of English descent. She attended the public schools of Hastings, Michigan, entered the State Normal School at Edinboro, Pennsylvania, in 1888 and was graduated in 1893. In 1897 she graduated from the Cleveland Homoepathic Medical College. She practiced in Conneaut, Ohio, from 1897 to 1902, pursued a post-graduate course in the New York Post-Graduate School of Medicine in 1903, and has since practiced in Ashtabula. In 1899 she became the wife of Charles Everette Watson, and in 1902 they established Conneaut General Hospital. She is a member of the Cleveland Homoeopathic Medical Society, as was also her husband. Dr. Charles Everette Watson died in January, 1903.
