Hope Funeral Home.
Mrs. Carson, 76, died
Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, at her
home in Hobbs, N.M. She was
born Jan. 19, 1929, in Wichita
Falls, Texas.
She married Dorce “Bo”
Carson on Sept. 17, 1949, in
Henrietta, Texas.
Georgia Carson was an
active member of Jefferson
Street Church of Christ. She
graduated from high school
in Wichita Falls, Texas. Mrs.
Carson was owner of Hobbs
Wrecking for many years.
Her greatest joys in life were
her church and especially her
family.
Survivors include a son,
Chuck Carson and wife Terri
of Hobbs, N.M.; three daughters,
Cheryl Lewis and husband
Bill of Schertz, Texas,
Chris Carson of Irving,
Texas, and Jenny Corrado of
Weatherford, Texas; a brother,
John Lutz of Lancaster,
Texas; two sisters,
Marguerite Knox of Cedar
Hill, Texas, and Leona Combs
of Sherman, Texas; six
grandchildren, Lance Lewis
and wife Lisa of San Antonio,
Texas, Shannon Horner and
husband Will of Round Rock,
Texas, Luke Corrado of
Weatherford, Texas, and
Samantha, Beau and Maddy
Carson of Hobbs, N.M.; and
one great-grandchild, Jovi
Lewis of San Antonio, Texas.
Mrs. Carson was preceded
in death by her husband,
“Bo,” and one sister.
