Deacon Obadiah Dodge along with Josiah Dodge, William Dodge, Gilford Miller and George North were given trustee status according to Chapter 140 which was "An Act to incorporate Pine Grove Cemetery Company which passed on the 16th of April 1888 by the Governor, Council, and Assembly.
