Robert Amos "Friday" Davis
Birth: Feb. 2, 1899
Death: Jul. 8, 1970

Professional Hockey Player. A native of Lachine, Quebec, 'Bob' Davis played for teams in the NHL, AHA, IHL, USAHA, TBSHL, and the MCHL hockey leagues. At 6'00, and 202lbs, Davis played the position of Right Wing for the Eveleth Rangers from 1922 to 1923, Fort William Forts from 1923 to 1928, Duluth Hornets from 1928 to 1932, Detroit Red Wings from 1932 to 1933, Detroit Olympics from 1932 to 1933, Montreal LaFontaine from 1933 to 1935, and the Fort William Wanderers from 1935 to 1936 as coach. Davis retired from hockey in 1935. Davis died in Vancouver, British Columbia, on July 8, 1970, at the age of 71. (bio by: K)
