François Fénelon
Birth: Aug. 6, 1651
Death: Jan. 7, 1715

Theologian. His real name was François de Salignac de la Mothe. He was archbishop of Cambrai from 1695 to 1715. He is best remembered for his book "Les Aventures de Télémaque." He also wrote "Traité de l'education des filles" and "Traité de l'existence et des attributs de Dieu." (bio by: José L Bernabé Tronchoni)
