MRS C HARVEY LANE
Mrs Mabel E Lane, 74 of 120 Duryea St, Roanoke Heights, Riverhead, died at the Eastern Long Island Hospital, Greenport, on Wednesday, June 7. She was the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Bartlett Robinson, of Southampton, and had been a highly respected resident of Riverhead for many years. Surviving are her husband, C Harvey Lane, a retired carpenter; three sons and three daughters, Russell Lane of Flushing, Walter R and H Reginald Lane, Mrs H Wilmot Vail, Mrs Herman Praeger and Mrs C Allen Horton, all of Riverhead; seven grandchildren and a sister, Mrs Alice Bricker, the latter of Stapleton, Staten Island. Funeral services will be held at Reginald H Tuthill's Funeral Home, Riverhead, on Saturday afternoon June 10, at 2 o'clock, with the Rev Lawrence R Boyll, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Riverhead Cemetery.
