Catherine Bracey of Yonkers departed this life on December 25, 2007.
She was born on January 6, 1926 to the late Mildred Emma Gross Jarvis (died Nov.3, 2000) and Arthur Jarvis (died 1987).
She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Hayward Bracey - As of 10-29-2016 He is still alive and in his 90's living in Yonkers and New Rochelle, New York.
Sister Jeanette Dennis; brother, Kenneth Jarvis; and a host of relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by three children; Glen, Jacqueline, and Sgt. Lester Bracey.
Reposing Friday, December 28, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at Bethany A.M.E. Church, 21 Ludlow St. Yonkers.
Funeral Services at the church Saturday, December 29, 2007 at 10 am.

JARVIS, MILDRED EMMA - Mildred Emma Jarvis died on November 3, 2000 at the Regency Extended Care. She was born on July 21, 1908 in Yonkers, NY, to the late Florence Baker and Thomas Gross.
On April 16, 1927 she married the late Arthur Jarvis who predeceased her in 1987.
Past President of the Seniors Group of Mulford Garders and a member of the Bethany A.M.E. Church, where she served as the Mother of the Church, Missionary, Pastor‘s Aide and Choir.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Kenneth Jarvis, Jeanette Dennis and Catherine Bracey, her siblings Florence Butterworth and Walter and Albert Gross, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Reposing Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Brooks Memorial Home, Inc, 275 Warburton Avenue, Yonkers.
Funeral service Tuesday at 11 am at the Bethany A.M.E. Church, 21 Ludlow Street, Yonkers. Interment at Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.
