Ms. Patricia Ann Fuchs Norman, 67, of Dobson, left this earthly realm to enter the portals of heaven on Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

She was born November 7, 1942, in Talbert County, MD, to Agnes Pospeshill Fuchs and the late George Fuchs.

Mrs. Norman was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her. She was a charter member of Saint Andrews Lutheran Church and retired from the Surry County Department of Social Services, where she worked as a Food Stamp Eligibility Specialist.

Among those who are left to cherish her memory are her dear son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Pam Norman of Mooresville; her two precious grandchildren, Brookelyn and Todd Norman; her mother, Agnes Pospeshill Fuchs of Dobson; a brother and sister-in-law, Jackie and Wilma Fuchs of Axton, VA; and very special friends, Norma Miller and the Rev. Dale Cline and his wife, Lisa.

Her funeral service will be held Saturday, May 29, 2010, at 2:00 PM at Saint Andrews Lutheran Church, conducted by the Rev. Dale Cline. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday at the church from 12:30 until the hour of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Andrews Lutheran Church, 1403 Fancy Gap Road, Mount Airy, NC 27030. Moody-Davis Funeral Home is serving the Norman family.
