Esther Vicks Buchmann, age 99, the daughter of the late Charles and Victoria Cagliola Vicks.
A lifelong resident of Erie, Esther was formerly a singer with the Erie Philharmonic and the Siebenbuerger Chorus and was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. She had served as a nurse's aid at St. Vincent Center during WW II.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul J. Buchmann; a sister, Rose Cummings and two brothers, Richard and Albert Vicks.
Esther is survived by a sister Victoria DeCoursey of Erie, along with 43 nieces and nephews.
