Stanley was the son of Ralph and Ruby Crawford. I will have a list of all his siblings forthcoming.

His first wife was Ina McCowan and his children are Bobbie "Darlene" Crawford Brumblough Gregg Williams McKenzie, Allen Wayne Crawford, Stanley Ervin "Joe" Crawford Jr., Ruby "Marlene" Crawford Landis Hileman, Vickie Lynn Crawford and Ralph Anthony "Tony" Crawford.

When his children were young he built his own house in Dunkirk, Indiana near the train trestle. He retired from RCA in Marion, Indiana and lived in Lincolnville, Indiana for quite a few years. He eventualy went to Florida where he opened a motorcycle shop called C & C Motorcycles. He died of sudden cardiac arrest. He had never even had a sign of illness.

He loved fishing and camping and believe it or not, working. He was a man who never sat idle. And he seriously loved his coffee. Seriously. He also loved to stick his own nickname monikers on his grandchildren.

His second wife was named Jean. They had no children together.
