Graveside services for
Woodrow Hoskins of
Clarksville, Texas, formerly of
Hobbs, N.M., will be 9:30 a.m.
Thursday, June 23, 2005, at
Prairie Haven Cemetery in
Hobbs.
Services are under the direction
of Chapel of Hope
Funeral Home.
Mr. Hoskins died June 18,
2005, at Clarksville Nursing
Home. He was born Nov. 24,
1914, in Atoka, Okla.
He married Odell Hoskins in
Marietta, Okla.
Mr. Hoskins lived in Hobbs,
N.M., since 1961 until he
moved to Clarksville. He
retired from Billy Walker
Trucking. He enjoyed fishing,
hunting and telling stories.
Survivors include four
daughters, Mary Gass of
Abilene, Texas, Lola Simpson
of Clarksville, Texas, Wilma
Hazelwood of Hobbs, N.M.,
and Susie Dale of Farwell,
Texas; a sister, Wanda Sain of
Melrose, N.M.; 11 grandchildren;
eight great-grandchildren
and two great-greatgrandchildren.
Mr. Hoskins was preceded in
death by his wife, Odell
Hoskins, in 1974.
Memorial contributions may
