Orlo Frank Edwards, Jr., passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 8, 2011 in a Houston hospital. Mr. Edwards was born to Orlo F. Edwards, Sr and Nettie Lorraine Gower Edwards on September 28, 1949 in Houston. He is survived by his loving wife Pamela J. Edwards; their daughter Sandra Acklen and her husband Gary Acklen, II; grandson Trey Acklen, brothers Dennis Taylor and Darrell Taylor; sisters Dorothy Ettinger, and Debra Walker; former son-in-law Brandon Davis; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation wiht the family will be at San Jacinto Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 beginning at 4:00 P.M. with the funeral service to be held in the funeral home chapel at 6:45 P.M. Private interment will be at a later date.
