The son of Arthur Everet Capstick and Myrtle E. Wiesmann, "Linc" was married to Gertrude C. "Gert" Carrow. They were the parents of 2 children.

Linc served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a private first class when he received his discharge from the service.

Linc worked as a federal meat inspector, and the family lived in St. John, St. Louis County, Missouri for many years.

He was a member of the D. A. V. He was a member of Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church in Overland, Missouri and belonged to the Presentation Holy Name Society.

At the time of his death, Linc was 68 years, 4 months and 4 days old. He was survived by his wife, Gert; 2 sons and 1 daughter-in-law; 5 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Myrtle Klauburg, Esther Wilson and Ethel Mueller; and 1 half-sister, Ruth Fennessey.

Visitation was held at Ortmann's in Overland, St. Louis County, Missouri on 06 Jul 1977. The funeral was from Ortmann's at 9:30 a.m. to Presentation Church for a 10 a.m. Mass on 08 Jul 1977.

Linc's wife, Gert, passed away in 1992 and was buried next to him.
