Rehanek, Kathleen Patricia Age 87 of Alachua, FL passed away Saturday, January 22, 2011 at E.T. York Care Center in Gainesville. She was born August 18, 1923 at Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania to Edward Daniel and Margaret Elizabeth Queer Rehanek. She graduated from University of West Virginia and was an educator and counselor until retirement. She moved to the Dallas area in 1975 and moved to Alachua, FL in 1995. She was a member of Holy Faith Catholic Church in Gainesville, FL. She was preceded in death by nephew, Regis Rehanek, II. She is survived by her brother, Regis (Patsy) Rehanek of Gainesville, FL; nephew, Regis Rehanek, III and widow of nephew, Jeanne Marie Rehanek. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Faith Catholic Church, 747 N.W. 43rd Street Gainesville, FL 32607, with Fr. John Phillips as celebrant. Arrangements are under the care of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 North Main Street.
