ELKHART, IN — James Wesley Settle, 71, of Elkhart, passed away at 5 a.m. Sunday, June 23, 2013, in his home. He was born April 12, 1942, in Geneva to Richard and Gladys Settle.
On Aug. 15, 1974, in Edwardsburg, Mich., he married Beverly A. Biddle. She survives along with seven children, Jeff Settle of Fort Wayne, Daniel Fuller of Finland, James Settle Jr. of Texas, Lori Settle of Fort Wayne and Sherman Fuller, Linda Fuller and Loycie Fuller, all of Elkhart. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two children, Mark and Tracy, and one sister, Mildred.
Jim enjoyed his home and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was formerly the owner of his own TV repair business and was a landlord in Elkhart for many years.
Cremation will take place at Elkhart Cremation Services. A celebration of life gathering will be at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to Southern Care Hospice.
