Grace Singles Deonier, age 91, of Princeton, Texas, passed away June 25, 2013, in McKinney, Texas. Grace was born April 29, 1922, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Frank and Alice (Peelyon) Singles. She married Calvin E. Deonier on May 5, 1945, in Pennsylvania. Grace was a Christian and believed deeply in God. She loved her grandchildren dearly. Grace also loved to crochet and to knit.
She is survived by her daughter, Arvonia Cabral and Phillip Cabral of Princeton, Texas; sons, William Calvin Deonier and wife, Laura of Portland, Oregon and A. J. Deonier and wife, Jenny of Washington state; grandchildren, Samuel Cabral, Joseph Cabral and wife, Janice, Alex Cabral and wife, Kristin, Kevin Cabral and wife, Cathy, Pamela Cabral, and Stephen Cabral, Heidi Deonier and husband, Aaron, William Deonier, Chris Deonier, Heather Deonier, August Deonier, and Sean Deonier, Ray Deonier and wife Shannon, Daniel Deonier, Jeremiah Deonier, and Amaryah La Fleur and husband Les; great-grandchildren, Cassie, Ryan, and twenty-nine others; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin E. Deonier, brothers, Frank P. Singles and twin Harry Singles; granddaughter, Sharon Rebecca, and sister, Ruth Singles.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 6, 2013, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at the funeral home.
