PERKINS, MARTHA - age 81, Tuesday July 5 at 11:45 PM, Martha left Pigeon Forge Care and Rehabilitation on her journey to her well deserved Heavenly Home. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church of Knoxville.
Waiting at the gates of Heaven to join her were her husband, Otis Perkins parents, Tate and Emmer Watkins brothers, Claude, Roy, J.T., Elmer, and Floyd. Leaving behind to morn her passing is her daughter, Linda Christopher and grandsons, Darrell and Kenny Christopher and wife Sue Ann all of Seymour.
Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Friday at Bookwalter Cemetery for an 11 am graveside service. Reverends Bo Selvidge and Louis Branch officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Thursday, July 7, at Weaver Funeral Home, 5815 Western Ave.
