Catherine M. 'Corby' Hagerman, 73, of Hanover, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2004, at Hanover Hall Nursing Center.

Born July 8, 1930, in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late George and Esther (Spaulding) Hagerman.

She retired from Aneco Trousers Inc. in Hanover after 48 years of service. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Hanover.

Surviving are a daughter, Deborah A. Staub of McSherrystown; two sons, Scott C. Hagerman of Hanover and Anthony J. Hagerman of McSherrystown; three grandchildren, Matthew J. Staub, Michael W. Staub and Brianna L. Hagerman; two great-grandchildren, Brady Staub and Kyle Staub; and two sisters, Mae A. Bankert and Yvonne C. Fuhrman, both of Hanover.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Ethel E. Marchio.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Hanover, with the Rev. John A. Szada Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Annunciation Cemetery, McSherrystown. Friends will be received tonight at Hicks Funeral Home, 501 Ridge Ave., McSherrystown, with a prayer service to be held at 8.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tony Hagerman, Scott Hagerman, Matt Staub, Mike Staub, Randy Reck, Keith Reck, Valerie Moritz and Sharon Kesselring.
