Floyd L. Henderson Floyd was born April 4, 1916 in Joplin, Missouri and died September 4, 2010 in Irvine, California of natural causes. Floyd (Roy) served in Japan during World War II maintaining Jeeps for the Army. He and his wife, Noni, raised their four children in Lakewood, CA, in their home they've owned for over 58 years. Floyd retired from McDonnell Douglas in 1978, after 32 years. Floyd enjoyed retirement with family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Noni; son, Mike (Kim) Henderson of Huntington Beach; daughter, Lynette (Tom) Stevenson of Fallbrook; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Services at Rose Hills, Whittier, CA, Friday, September 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m., Rainbow Chapel, gate 17.
