He was born June 13, 1936 in Dallas, Texas to the parentage of the late Marion C. Cohen and Edwina Wyatt Cohen. 1955 Graduate of Booker T. Washington High School Dallas, Texas. Attended Tuskegee Institute, Tuskegee Alabama. Retired from the Kansas City Southern Railroad. Survived by Wife Gloria Cohen, One daughter, and Four sons. Nyla Cohen, Marion Cohen (Danita), Roderick Cohen (Sonja), Christopher Cohen (Angela), and Kalon Cohen. One brother; Fredie Cohen (Emma Sue) Dallas, Texas. 11 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandson. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, July 12, 2013 at Lott's Mortuary - 2434 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Dallas, TX 75215. Services will be held Sat. July 13, 2013, 11:00 AM at Bon Air Baptist Church, 5707 Bonnie View Rd. Dallas, TX 75241. Interment Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.
