Edverdina Polzin, 89, passed away Saturday night, April 29th, 2017, at Rennes Health Center West in Peshtigo, WI where she had been a short time resident. She was born October 12th, 1927, to the late Otto and Pauline (Krutz) Ahrens.
Edverdina married Elmer Polzin on November 3rd, 1945, at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Grover. She was a lifelong member of St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church. She enjoyed her time with her husband, children and grandchildren, and in earlier years enjoyed camping with them.
Edverdina is survived by her husband, Elmer;
three children: Karen (Douglas) Schroeder of Crivitz, Wi; Carol (Jon) Nedland of Mondovi, WI and Barry (Sue) Polzin of Peshtigo, WI;
grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Polzin; and her sisters and brothers.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 3rd, at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Grover from 9:30 a.m. until services at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Charles Learman officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens in Marinette.
