Thomas was the fourth of seven children born to Maynard 'Dobbs' Solomon and Florence Alabama (Gasaway) Bean. He married Anna Mae Delano in 1926 and together they had three sons: Thomas William, Johnie Ruel and Jimmey.

Last Rites for Thomas Bean Slated Today at Roberts Home

Funeral services for Thomas M. Bean will be held at the Roberts funeral home Thursday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Dan Claassen officiating.
Mr. Bean passed away at his home at 308 First Avenue West in Roundup Tuesday morning at 12:55. Burial will be in the Bridger, Montana cemetery.
Mr. Bean was born at Lee, Montana, April 26, 1893, and went to Bridger to live when a small boy. On May 20, 1926, he was married to Miss Annie Delano at Forsyth, Montana.
In February, 1946, Mr. Bean came to Roundup from Columbus and bought the Ted Kelly blacksmith shop which he operated until a few months ago when he had to lease the business because of ill health.
Besides Mrs. Bean he is survived by a son, Johnie R. Bean of the U.S. Naval Air Station, Seattle, Washington; three brothers, R.O. and J.S. Bean, Forsyth, and Maynard S. Bean of Billings; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel V. Storm of Forsyth and Mrs. May Bowen of Portersville, California.
