Services Held for Mrs. Cora Pasma
Mrs. Cora C. Pasma was laid to rest Tuesday afternoon in the Highland cemetery, after services held from the Baptist church. The church was crowded with friends of many years.
Pallbearers were Rude Moss, Bert Inman, Frank Thomas, Charlie Thomas, Otto Vogel and A.B. Stanwick.
Mrs. Cora Pasma was born in the Netherlands, June 9, 1868, daughter of John and Celia (Van Weinga) Roist. She moved with her parents to Grand Rapids, Mich., at the age of four years, and was married to Peter J. Pasma Nov. 11, 1889. Seven children were born to this union, all surviving, as follows: Jay and Burt of Havre; John and Lester of Lloyd; Mrs. Estel Murphy of Rattlesnake, Mont.; Mrs. Leonard Spencer of Simpson; and Mrs. W.A. Cherry of Aberdeen, Wash. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, two brothers and four sisters in Grand Rapids, Mich.
She was a member of the First Baptist church in Havre. Many friends were her joy through life, and regretted her passing.
