Ruth Mae Schroeder, 76, of Port Edwards died Monday, June 12, 2006, at the Edgewater Haven Nursing Home in Port Edwards.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Roseberry's Funeral Home in Friendship. Interment will be in the East Arkdale Cemetery, town of Strongs Prairie, Adams County.
Ruth was born Dec. 16, 1929, in Joliet, Ill., to Edward and Edna (Earls) Knupp. She was married to Beldon Schroeder on Dec. 9, 1950, in New Lenox, Ill.
She and her husband owned and operated Schroeder's Grocery Store in Adams. She also helped on her husband's farm for many years.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday.
