AMBROSE DODGE
MIDDLETON, Nov. 28—The death took place very suddenly last evening of Ambrose Dodge, a well-known citizen of the town, at the age of 87 years. Mr. Dodge was born in Middleton and was the son of Ambrose and Abigail Parker Dodge. When a small boy, with his parents he moved to Spa Springs, where he spent all but the last fourteen years of his life.
A successful farmer, he retired several years ago, and has made his home here since, For the past few years his health has not been good. He was predeceased by his wife about five years ago.
The late Mr. Dodge is survived by his four children. H. O. Dodge (Henry Oswald Dodge), Sydney; L. B. Dodge (Lewis Blanchard Dodge), and Miss Margaret Dodge, of this town, and Mrs. O. P. Boucher, (Ardelia Keziah Dodge Boucher) of Halifax. The funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. W. D. Wilson, with burial in the family lot at Pine Grove cemetery.
