Elizabeth was the first wife of King Gaines Gillette, the only son of safety razor magnate, King Camp Gillette. They were married on September 10, 1913 in Los Angeles, and adopted a daughter, Celeste. After their divorce, she married George Kothe on April 12, 1930. George died in 1953, and Elizabeth married Ben Parsons on September 11, 1956.
