William S. Quinn, of 1029 Driftwood, a resident of 27 years, died about 5:00 pm yesterday at a local hospital. He was the son of a pioneer Irish family from St. Paul, Minn.

Quinn was a member of the Corpus Christi Cathedral.

Surviving are his wife, Katherine, one son, Walter Quinn of California; five step-daughters, Mrs. R. J. Williams, Mrs. Tom Pogue, Mrs. Kenneth Bath, Mrs. Gene Whelan, and Mrs. John Embry, all of Corpus Christi, and four grandchildren. Funeral Services wil be announced by Cage Mills Funeral Home.

The Rosary for William S. Quinn of 1029 Driftwood will be said at 8:00 pm today at Cage Mills Funeral Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 am tomorrow at the Corpus Christi Chapel with the Rev. Albert H. Schmitt as celebrant.

Burial will be at Seaside Memorial Park.* Quinn, the son of a pioneer Irish family from St. Paul, Minn. died Friday at a local hospital.

* William Quinn was buried in Texas next to his second wife, but he also has a headstone next to his first wife, Sarah Mulhern Quinn, in St. Kilian Catholic Cemetery in Wykoff, Fillmore Co. MN.

The year of birth engraved on his headstone in Texas is incorrect.
